We have an x595 lawn tractor that will run for about an hour and a half then quits. It will restart but then quits again.

Could be a couple of things. First check the wire harness that goes over the top of the engine. I found a wire that rubbed and was shorting out. The seat switch could be going. The vent on the fuel cap could be plugged, the next time it quits loosen the cap and run again. If it stays running after that then you know. It could be the pullin coil on the fuel pump, A1A module but I wouldn't get into the electrical components just yet.

I second what TJR345 said about the fuel cap vent. Had this identical issue with my L120 lawn tractor.

This sounds similar to my issues with my diesel. My issue was a plugged fuel pickup line in the fuel tank. The thread below includes a link to video on how to clean the pickup line.

You're definitely doing the right thing by cleaning out the tank. Looks like the previous owner wasn't very careful about getting crap in the tank. Get the tank cleaned out well and then probably change the fuel filter again and hopefully you're good to go. Rob I changed the fuel filter about...

Same problem. Mine was a mouse chewed a pin hole in the bottom of the fuel pickup line. I just posted on it last week with more detail. Good luck.
