x700 mid-mount rockshaft replacement

I cannot find a youtube showing how to remove and replace the mid-mount mower rockshaft. Do you have to remove the bushings first, and then the rockshaft will have enough wiggle room to come out?

Did you ever figure out how to replace the shaft? Why did you have to replace it?
