X720 won' start

Started my X720 several times today and then went to start it again and it would not turn over. all I got was a somewhat different sound from the fuel pump, sounded muted, and then when I turned the key further I got a buzzing from I believe the drivers right side under the dashboard. the starter did not engage at all, not even a click click. I checked all of the fuses and they are fine. I jumped it with my car as I don't have a means to check the battery, but got the same results. also, noticed with the key turned to the start position the dash lights all flash.

any thoughts on what to check would be appreciated...thanks

Similar thing happened to me. The battery wouldn't even jump start. It must've fried internally. I took the battery out of my x590 to get it to the garage. Put a new battery in and all was good.
It was the battery, which surprised me as I've never had one just fail without warning and on a 60 degree day....thanks

No problem, I was a little puzzled myself at first. There was no warning like slow starting, I shut it off to eat lunch and went to start it and nothing.

Possibly a internal cell connector failure.
