X758 shopping

That’s $1500 cheaper than I was quoted early this spring

I paid $15,800 without anything else on the 1025R

In Nov 2021 I bought a new X758 with 48” deck, mulch kit, front quick hitch with angling, and the front snow plow for $16,900 so that sounds about right.

Wow, three grand for the deck! I thought for a very long time JD had managed to keep increases to the prices on the X7 series and attachments very reasonable. I guess it was only a matter of time before the right market conditions gave Deere an excuse to push the prices significantly higher. If you look at how their stock performed during the pandemic period, they scored massively. Supply versus demand. Note, I am just saying the X7 is a reflection of a company wide increase in product prices, not this is limited to the X7s.

Effects of 2 years of all time high inflation rates, has done a literal number on about everything.

They're even more expensive over here but I guess there's also freight involved. Total cost including taxes and labour for an X758 & 60HC is $28,940 AUD or $18,900 USD. We don't sell a whole lot of them...

I thought they came with yellow decks

I like the green, I have a new one coming, I thought it was yellow, green looks best.

Unless it's a 7-Iron deck, $3k is an absurd price.


The green deck is cheaper for Deere. I think yellow makes for a sharper looking tractor. I can only imagine green for commercial and government/municipal customers.
Of course, Deere didn't poll its customers. Rather, it arrogantly made the change without seeking feedback.

"The new Deere......we know what is best for you".

For 2023 the 7 iron deck is green.
