I just got a z335e and I'm wanting to mulch 100% of the time, I'm not really wanting to use the mulch control kit as I hear its not the best. does any other kit exist for my mower or will I have to go DIY

The Mulch Control Kit seems to be all there is from John Deere. They don't sell mulch plugs like they do for the tractor style, I've found.

FWIW I’ve got a Z515e with the JD mulch kit & blades and it does a pretty nice job on my 10 acres of grass.

I’ve got a 3025e with a finish mower but use the z for about 3 acres where I can’t manage with the 3. That said, yes, I’ve done the whole 10 with the Z more than once.
