I replaced my forks on both of my z950s with the zglide forks. First I will say I like the zglides a lot. The issue has been with one of the forks leaking grease from the bottom. I have taken it off and re-installed it 4 times thinking maybe I did something wrong for that one fork but it still leaks.
It's easy to take the top bearing out and look it over but I don't know how to take out the lower bearing and seal. I just want to check them and I don't have a problem replacing them to see if that fixes it but I don't know how to get those parts out.
Can anybody help?
The parts I am referring to are in the pic. Parts 25, 26, 27

Just remove the top bearing from the race, and use a piece of pipe and gently (don’t go ape on it… shouldn’t need much) tap out the bottom bearing and the seal… cleaning everything, then replace grease re-packed bearing, before installing new seal. Replace top re-packed bearing, and cap. Then pump about 10 pumps of grease through the zerk fitting… you don’t want to over-grease and pop out the cap. Fairly simple job… Good luck!
