Just installed a hitch on my John Deere Z997R.
I got it from Harbor Freight for a little more than $20.
I said in the video that it was a Reese, but its not
it is Reese like though way cheaper. I plan on putting
the quick change receiver on the front also and it
would allow me to push or pull. I like pushing my
small single axel trailer around the yard picking up
limbs. It is easier to maneuver and quicker to get
off, load limbs in the trailer then get back on the tractor.

If you have a Hitch you made that works for you then
let us know what it looks like.

I found another Reese 2" hitch receiver at harbor freight and installed one on the front also. I put the tow for the back. I had to cut about 4-5" off the end to get it to fit right. The tow hitch I had to add about 4" to make it extend out enough. Just used a 2" x 2" x 1/4" piece of tubing I had laying around the shop. Now I need to clean all the welded areas and primer then paint it all JD green.
