I had this over size rolling pin and wanted to do something with it besides make pizzas. No I did purchase this 54" stripping roller from Harrison Specialties harrisonspecialties.com. Its a 5" steel roller with eccentric Bering's on each end. I wanted to put this behind the 7iorn 60" deck on my Z997R John Deere, but because of the two traveling stabilizers on the rear side of the deck it would not allow me to cut lower than 3". So I made a Steel frame for it to follow behind my mower. I made it to fit the 2" receiver hitch I welded onto the rear frame. As you can see in the video I still need to paint it and have not yet installed a spring or gas strut downforce mechanism. I want it to have about 100 lbs of down pressure to keep it from bouncing while going over rough terrain. I have several other ideals for things to install on this mower so stay tuned for more video's in the future. And most of all if you have any questions I don't like making video's but I'm trying to get better.
