35d excavator was in the shed all winter and starts but won’t move. I found mice and am concerned they chewed the wiring to the arm rest switch. How do I trouble shoot this issue?

Welcome to GTT,

Yiur gonna have to start removing panels to find the damage, I’d that is outside of your capabilities then tru to hire a mechanic to help. I agree the armrest switch is the likely place.

What did you just type here?

@the OP, start small. do the hydraulic functions work? check the hyd.oil and filters. Are there any warning lights? does it make any noise when you try to move? Check that armrest switch, and then move to bigger things like hyd. valves and drives.
