I've seen a few folks using dump boxes like the Titan 10 cu. ft. model. They’re quite handy for smaller loads and tight spaces where backing a wagon can be tricky. As for filling materials, sand is a solid choice as it adds weight and stability without freezing in winter like water. Just make sure the roller is properly sealed to avoid leaks. Concrete, while permanent, might be overkill unless you need a really heavy roller and don't plan on moving it much.
