Well got the Bannon cart delivered just in time today. Old Dominion showed up on time with a pup trailer like I suggested. Took her off with the 2032R, dropped her in the garage and went to work on it. Got four high flotation tires from Tricam, maker of the Gorilla cart, to replace those 8 stupid tires it came with.

We needed this today to carry the new 220 Hobart welder, tank, and tools to the wood furnace pavilion to weld the water jacket that sprung a leak a couple days ago. We had to get it done because the elements in the back-up 80 gallon water heater somehow went bad, plus we have 10-12 inches of wet snow/sleet coming at 6pm until 12pm Tuesday.

Didn't have time to snap any pics putting it together, or while we were welding, just a couple quick ones, just throwing the tools in the house to dry off. Then took it back down to the pavilion to load up the bark from splitting till we get a chance to run it thru the new chipper.

Main uses will to be towed behind chipper, to haul cut wood, and equipment clearing felled trees, and bark collection for now. Wheel axles are too long for retro-fit wheel, so need to grab some spacers for shafts so axle nuts can be torqued properly.

Over all very happy with it. Do wish Tricam was making the Gorilla Cart this year, would have saved me the 120 in extra wheels, plus the spacers. Couldn't wait till they started making the gorilla cart. Needed it now. Oh well it is what it is.here's a few quick pics at the end of a long hard day. Didn't even get the furnace leg extensions welded up or installed. Just didn't have the time or energy.

What's the other trailer in the 3rd pic down, with the steel corrugated sides and large tires? Homemade job or factory made?

I replace mine just because of tire life expectancy higher flotation and all around ease of use. Better grade tire. Common size tire. These you can actually grease and fill with air 10 times easier than the other style. Other style you have to take off outside wheel to put air in inside tire or Grease inside tire. These are a normal size tire not the oddball sized narrow ones that the cart comes with. Allen.

Sorry for the long delay! Life got in the way. These are 18-8.5x8 4 ply tires.

I got these from the parent company that makes both the Gorilla cart, and the Bannon cart. The wheels that come on the Bannon cart are junk.

Many complaints about the Bannon cart tires falling apart. Made of junk rubber.

These are great! I haven't put 1 pound of air in any of them. Much better flotation, no mud getting stuck between the dual wheels.

I will have to get up to my garage and find the extra ones, if I even still have them. I remember using 2 spacers per spindle. The spacers have Allen set screws to hold them in place along with the pressure from the castle nut thru the bearings.

Spacers were cheaper/better than washers. Best guess right now they were 1" ID, and about 1.5" long. Don't quote me on that.

Here is the link to the tires. I would actually call them as I did to complain how crappy the original tires were, and they will give you a discount on them. they did for me. 80.00 bucks each is steep, I know I didn't pay that much for mine, but they are worth it.

Actually, If I had seen the price of the axle, I would have swapped them both out. I didn't know that I was going to need spacers until I got the new tires. 50.00 per axle is a good price.

Again, I would call them to complain how bad the tires on the Bannon cart are and ask what they could do for you, buying 4 rim and tires, and 2 axles. They gave me a pretty large discount on the 4 wheels.
