In response to where they are made - RK advises on other Country Way tillers - “In Kentucky”.

I would suspect these are made to RK specs by Tarter. Possible some slight changes from their normal product - but otherwise same quality/build.

As to “how good are they” best answer I can give is how good do you need it to be? If your filling up garden/food plots a couple of times a year like most users of a 4’ tiller would be - quality should be fine.

Extreme terrain or daily use year round - it might make sense to step up in quality.

Realistically, a tiller is much the same today as it was 50+ years ago. Chain or gear driven with not a lot else to go wrong.

 

Thank you. What I forgot to include, there was a King Kutter rep at RK when I was looking around. Per him KK is the best you can get and CW was Chinese crap that if it breaks you will never find parts for it. BTW it will probably only see 5 hours max a year
