Does anybody know who makes the Frontier RC2072 rotary cutter for Frontier?

It does look like the 72" size looks closer to a Landpride cutter. Looking at the smaller ones, they look closer to a Woods, but who knows which company actually makes them. I missed the 72" size in the initial post.

Could be wrong its not 100% match to anything I found, but the shape of the deck does not seem to match woods at all. I suppose Deere could have a requested a special stamping or deck design. Seems odd though, my frontier batwing is pretty much identical to the woods batwing. I even had to go to woods to buy the rest of the mulch kit, since frontier only offered the mulching blades. I found the mulching shrouds in the woods parts and accessory catalog and had to buy them from a woods dealer.

Looks like the that model is a Land Pride.
Woods does make a lot of stuff for Deere so do many others.
They offer both the LP and Woods finish mowers some of which overlap in size.
Could easily be the same for these rotary cutter.
But looks to me like the RC2072 is a Land pride.

The local dealer that I use mentioned that Frontier rotary cutters are Woods brand. I ordered a 7' Woods BB84.5 and it was not available from Frontier. Apparently the Frontier rotary cutters are the same as the Woods RC series.

I found this on AgriMarketing.com...but it's fairly old:

Frontier is a line of implements and attachments, sold exclusively by John Deere dealerships. Frontier currently works with alliance partners who manufacture the broad range of products to the company's specifications. This ensures the implements meet the company's standards for performance, reliability, and compatibility with John Deere equipment.
Sounds like they source Frontier implements from several manufacturers. Seems to be pretty TOP SECRET information.

They use WOODS quite a bit.
Might try digging through the woods lineup/catalog and see if it matches up with the Frontier. You can normally tell if they look identical except for green paint.
My Frontier Batwing Finish mower is made by woods for Deere to be sold as a Frontier.
They sometimes use more then one brand to make their stuff, and you end up seeing some significant overlap.
