I will hold my own beer thank you. But yes please post pictures and videos if you do try to pull this off.

Oh and you will absolutely need to shim the relief valve to pull this off.
He already moved it.

I don't think that is his but someone else who did something similar. In post 16 OP says this is not the splitter but something similar.

If I had to guess he is either adding an option or going the next model up from the -15

Thats over 900 pounds, 925.941501177 pounds to be exact, I would not expect a 455 to lift that.
I have 1,000 pounds on the 3-point of my 2025R and when I have the FEL off, I can lift the front end off the ground with about 30-50 pounds of force. Hard to steer. I do not use it this way.

I would not even think about that much weight on the 3-point of my 430 (predecessor to the 455). I have put 6 x 42 pounds on the 3-point for winter with a plow on the front.

20 hp is sufficient
You will be light on that too. The splitter is designed for a much larger machine than what you have. I don't think it is a safe, let alone good idea. But people do things I think are unsafe every day and frequently live to tell about it.

You are well beyond what is recommended, but you seen comfortable being there, so good luck.

Google says the tractor is designed to readily accept the three-point hitch (rear hydraulics, hydraulic cylinder, and rockshaft bearings are standard equipment). Three-point hitch will lift 650 lb.

If you can't lift it, roll it !

Hello or good evening everyone !
Here are some news. Indeed, the splitter is too heavy to be lifted, it must be said that it is a 22 ton, therefore a solid frame.
The pictures I had posted with a splitter raised have an explanation I had: First not to put the third point, so that one only tilts the splitter a little. Then put on a strap and pull it between the top of the splitter and the front of the machine. I didn't want to try...
So I decided to roll it, and I have to say it's going pretty well, and just to be on the safe side, I widened the track between the splitter wheels to ensure proper balance.
