I love diesels and love to search for deals but I don't know what models of JD diesel zero turn mowers there is out there. I know the 997 from google. But not much else is coming up. Does anyone have a list? I don't want the F935 as an example where it is front mount mower with rear steer. I want something similar to the 997. Thank you.

Ya. I believe the 997 is the only diesel in the lineup. I'd love one but doubt I'll ever pay for one. Never know though.

The salesman my boss bought a ton of stuff from told him Deere is working on a model that is smaller than the 997 with a diesel though to help them compete with the Kubota machines. The 997 is an awesome machine, but now with all of the emission stuff on them they are crazy in price. I am hoping they do come out with one, we love the JD mowers at work and plan to keep buying them.
