The taillights were always loose on my 445 so I finally simply set them in with Gorrila Glue prior to putting it up for sale. That worked great ... as far as I know.

 

I used some clear silicon on my 445 tails. Kept them in place for years.

I did the same, and it holds well. If / when it lets go, I'll do it again!:laugh:

Thanks for all your ideas. I found the ebay sight with the retainer straps. Studied them for a few minutes and went out and fabricated straps in about 30 minutes. Will definitely solve the problem!! Now I'm going to fabricate a rear bumper that will attach to the wait box holes and maybe prevent anyone from backing into something by mistake. I'll use lynch pins for quick disconnect and summer use.
