I would guess you will need to pull the steering column put just a bit.

 

Due to the different models I have seen, it seems that the models that have a clutch pull the steering shaft but I do not have a clutch. Just wondering.

 

I think just the drag links @ the sector- pull the cotter pins and washers.

Thank you but I didn't know there was a drive belt adjustment

 

I believe that the adjustment is correct when the spring length on the tension rod that goes to the idler bracket is 1.25". The front vee idler and the flat idler make up the adjustments if my relatively Ok memory recalls correctly.
