Gonna try to re post this, no on answered with any info on prior post
Any direction is greatly appreciated

I have the new Relay for the JD SRX 95 Rear Engine Rider (kawasaki)
that is the correct for delayed starting (John Deere AM107421 Starter Relay Kit)

My question is that it looks easy enough to install but how do i get to the
Relay, does the whole Cowl have to be removed ?
If so where are the bolts I have no schematic of this thing nor can I find
much out about it

easy fix

I have an SX95 and installed this kit about two years ago. I am very pleased. There is no relay to replace. You just install it across from the starter motor on the frame and snap all the connectors to the existing wiring. Very easy to do and should not require you to remove anything. Well maybe the right rear tire would make it easier. I installed mine when it was all apart but you should not need to do that. Here is a picture of that...don't let it scare you!

This is more what I was looking for, do you have a more up close picture of the starter and the wiring I could use as guide
and location, its tough to see with cowl still in place

On another note how hard is it to get Cowl off, location of bolts

Thank You

Starter improvement and the safety loop

Sorry to say my SX95 is in storage in another state right now. I am not able to provide pictures. The starter motor relay is integrated into the starter motor on this engine. The current needed to pull it in has to travel through all the safety switches first. The seat switch, the pto switch and the transmission switch. By the time it gets to the starter relay, it is reduced too much to pull it in as the switches corrode and the system just gets old. This new relay provides the full current the starter relay asks for and it is activated by the safety circuit with very little current. It should have been part of the original design. It works great and was very satisfying to see the difference.

Kit diagram

I forgot to mention the obvious ignition switch is in there too lol. In the diagram, I wanted to point out that the Red (30) and the purple (87) wires both connect to the starter motor. The relay is "inline" on the purple wire. That is why there are two purple wires as in <purple wire - relay - purple wire>. If you can get to the bottom of the starter motor, you can install it.

As others have stated the relay kit is an addition and not a replacement for any existing parts. It should have come with an instruction sheet...attached are some documents that I have. Be sure to open the first PDF document as it has much more in the way of helpful text and illustration than the two images that I also included as informational...
