I spot this one, suspect this is the culprit right here. It's an older one, but would like up with the above statements on age. Throttle cable, looks like.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles and contact an authorized John Deere dealer for a free inspection and repair of improperly routed throttle cables. John Deere is contacting all known purchasers directly.
Not the same recall, mine is a 2018 and had the throttle cable fix done before I bought it.
This is a new recall.
Did find on the gatorforums.net site that a bunch of people were having park brake letting go and that Deere knew about it and supposedly had a fix.
I have a 2020 and the parking brake is enabled using a pedal and released using a handle under the steering wheel. Anybody know if this model is affected?
Same as my 2018 835m that is recalled.
Heard that it could be the ratchet plate that holds the park brake in parked position
is too weak and allows the park brake to release intermittently without having to pull the
handle or in some cases so worn or bent won't allow the park brake to even be set???
