New owner of a 2021 XUV590M S4.

Any other owners out there? If yes, pros/cons? What do you think of yours? Money well spent? We have had ours 2.5 months now. 32 miles on it. We got ours with some upgrades. Anyone out there pay the $130 for the rubber mat for the bed? Worth it? My only con so far is I am surprised the way the clutch engages. I thought it would be smoother and more direct like a car. I want to add a pair of lights to the brush bar and a pair pointing off the back. Looking forward to some snow time with it.

I have the same machine (MY2020) but the 2 seat version.

I didn’t opt for the bed mat because it is all plastic anyway. I did however opt for the floor mats - very nice and easy to sweep out.

I also added cargo rails which have come in super handy for me. I use them to steady myself and also to tie long handle tools to so they don’t slide around in the bed.

I will also eventually get work lights for front and back. But my next purchase will be a pair of side view mirrors. I have a center rear view mirror that helps but not quite enough for precision backing.

Congrats. Cool on the windshield with wiper. I see yours looks like real glass. We did get the floormats. I may consider the side rails like you mentioned instead of the rubber mat for the bed. Not like I will be throwing in pieces of iron or steel to damage it. How do you like the performance? How do you like how the clutch engages?

Search Gator clutch problems in this forum. There are some parts in the clutch that do not have enough clearance. That does not allow the clutch to disengage at idle. Our 590 worked fine until it was out of warranty. Shifting became hard. Eventually I did some googling and it is a very common problem.

I called my dealer and complained and they agreed to fix it for $170. They knew exactly what I was talking about and claimed they've never had a problem after they increase the clearance. It did not require any new parts.

There are also videos showing how to do it yourself with sandpaper I think.

We received our 595M two seater, shortly after Coaltrain. There were many recommendations about add-ons. So, we added as many as we could: box rails, bed & floor mats, lights on the front and back, turn signals, reverse lights, horn soft doors, plexiglass rear, glass windshield with wiper.... We have only driven it about 14 miles so far, but we really like it.

Congrats!!!! Do you use the bed rails? What do you think of the bed mat? The lights on the roof, did you have those dealer installed? If yes, are they the LED? What did those lights cost? Horn soft doors? Wow, those look nice.

One of several reason we got rid of our xuv 550 S4 5 years ago and bought a Honda Pioneer 4 seater
another reason , with the long wheelbase would bottom out going across a new plowed field or other places.
Loved the low height of seat , having the back seat plus the bed.
but Love the Honda , far more than Gator.

I did some quick research to see about the harnesses and switches.

Looks like the switch comes with the harness for both front and rear roof lights. The switches are for the switch bank that is mounted up high at the center which I already have since I had the glass windshield with wiper installed before delivery.

For Coaltrain, having the two blanks for switches on upper bar, that's where I would put switches.
Does your Gator have any "blanks" on the dash? If it does, that's where I would want switches.
