Hey, I'm new to this site, but I was wondering if anyone might know where to find a crank shaft for the Yanmar in my Gator?

Engine Family: SYD739U6D2RA

I was trying to avoid the price gouging.

Should I just go there to find the part number?

It doesn't seem like any place has a listing for these engines.

It's a 6x4 Diesel Gator I got from craigslist that didn't come with a user manual.

Highstreet,

The Yanmar in the Gator is very similar to the 3TN66-UJ engine used in the 332 tractors, apart from some of the accessories. Here is a manual excerpt that might be useful...

...and here is an excerpt from the Gator TM1518 manual if it is not too large to attach...

Hope these can be of some help.

Thanks!
Yea, I just found a guy on eBay selling the short block from a 332 and he says he may be able to pull a crank from another he has.

Why do people assume because a dealer sell's it it's "price gouging"?

Highstreet, look here, its free to register ans its the same basic system the dealers use: www.jdparts.com
Thanks, Kenny. I'll check it out.

When it is listed for $1000 and I have people offering it to me for $300 on eBay, that is quite a markup. JD also doesn't allow used parts dealers to carry replacements parts in order to restrict supply.

You may be right on those prices.

Hey, does anyone know of an online/printable Service or Tech Manual for this Gator Crank? Is the best way to just grab a used one off ebay, or is there an online version?
