It was 76 months ago that I purchased the 3025E to help us with the chores and food plots on what was originally our 20 acre "homestead" farm in NW Missouri. Each year I have posted annual 3025E reviews (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023) With the expansion of the farm to 85 contiguous acres, the equipment needed merited a larger tractor.
The only warranty issue was a replacement hood when new...Deere readily replace the peeling paint due to a bad batch of primer (according to the dealer).
The tractor was serviced regularly, and ultimately the tractor exceeded my expectations. Implements used with the tractor included:
The tiller did bog down when doing deep tillage, but that just meant going slower. If I had kept the tractor, I would have added the Ag Diesel Solutions plug in module that bumps the 3025 hp by 25 to 30%.
My insights for potential buyers--go for it!
The tractor has about 250 hours. Here is my final picture before the dealer comes and takes it away. For those interested, the replacement is a 5 series.

- Tar River Saya 505 No-Till Drill
- 6' Land Pride tiller
- 4' & 6' Rotary cutters
- John Deer 6' Cultivator (Cat II with Cat I adapters)--every other disc was removed
- County Line Post hole digger
- 7' blade
- 6' rock rake
- Single bottom plow
- Mid-buster/Sub Soiler
- Ballast box
- Piranha bar

- The size of the tractor is a great balance between too-small and too-big for most applications.
- It is easy to use, with intuitive controls.
- It's winter friendly. Mine started well in the winter, and is still on the OEM battery. I used it each season for snow removal using R2's Edge Tamers.
- After using the Piranha bar frequently the first year, I really did not use them as much afterwards. They have their place, I guess.
- The ballast box (or fluid filled tires) is a must for any heavy loader work.
